JLF Safety
All JLF participants must comply fully with all LLNL safety regulations and procedures.
All JLF participants must complete available LLNL safety training:
- HS5200-W Laser Safety
- HS4258-W Be Awareness
- HS4261-W Pb Awareness
- HS5220-W Electrical Safety Awareness
- HS6001-B General Employee Radiological Training.

The booklet for (5) can be obtained from Beth Mariotti in T1739.
All JLF participants must complete a laser eye exam and have filed the results at LLNL Vision Services, 925-422-5190

Appointment for a laser eye exam at LLNL can be made at: http://www-r.llnl.gov/es_and_h/safety_glasses/.
All JLF participants must read and sign the appropriate facility IWSs:
- #12639 for Janus/Titan/Callisto/COMET
- #11811 for Europa
- Any other IWS specific to participant’s activity.
IWSs are available only for those with access to the LLNL internal server. Contact Dwight Price or Jim Bonlie to get your name added to an IWS for Read & Sign via LLNL internal server, or to read and sign a hard copy of an IWS.
All equipment entering B 174 must be UL approved or, otherwise, AHJ approved
LLNL Stop Work Policy: Anyone who is concerned with work safety can request immediate stop work action.
