Student Supervisors

Student Supervisors may include:

  1. LLNL scientists and senior technicians with proper safety training, qualification in working with high-power lasers, appropriate work experience in the JLF, and approval by JLF Facility Operations.

  2. External scientists with proper safety training, qualification in working with high-power lasers, more than one month of appropriate work experience in the JLF, and approval by JLF Facility Operations.

  3. Supervisors of students must have taken and passed the LTRAIN HS0075-W "Student Safety Awareness for Supervisors" course.
