User group

The National Ignition Facility (NIF) and JLF User Group facilitates collaboration between researchers at LLNL and the international high-energy-density science community.

Each year (typically in February), NIF and JLF host a User Group Meeting, bringing together this community to learn about the capabilities, recent experiments, and new experimental platforms at both LLNL facilities. The JLF user group serves as a liaison between users and the facility, allowing JLF to improve its capabilities and processes to better serve the user community. JLF welcomes past, planned, and prospective users to attend the annual event.
